Home sales in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati picked up this spring compared to last year. With the recent wave of new home construction in the area during the last few years, buyers were able to be choosey but this is beginning to change. A notable jump in home sales of nearly 5% is proof that the market is swinging a bit back towards sellers.
Still, home owners can continue to expect yearly increases of 3 percent to 5 percent. While you may not see the wild jumps in prices compared southern California or Phoenix, those in the Cincinnati area can be assured their homes will steadily increase in value.
With speculation that many of these fast rising markets are heading for a housing bubble, maybe the steady growth in the region is welcome trend.
